Becoming a mentee

Thinking about coming back? Let's Make It Real

Are you ready to apply?

Before applying, ask yourself these 5 simple questions

  • Do I already have a clear idea of which country I want to return to?

  • Is it a return motivated by work, entrepreneurship, or a bit of both?

  • Is my resume, LinkedIn profile, or portfolio up to date and ready to be shared?

Verification ready

If you answered “yes” to the majority of these questions, you are probably ready to apply.

No verification ready

If you still have doubts about your project, we advise you to take a few more.

To what Expect

Once selected, this is what the Passerelle Africa mentoring program looks like

  • 3-month support with a mentor who lives and works in Africa

  • One to two sessions per month, by videoconference or by phone

  • A framework that focuses on clarity, structure, and the transition to
The action — not just about the discussion

Your mentor is not there to do things for you. Its role is to challenge your ideas, help you structure your approach, and share a perspective rooted in local reality.
